Aircon Energy has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with the State of California to act as the State’s Energy Services Company for the purpose of conducting Investment Grade Audits of the State’s correctional facilities as part of the State’s Climate Protection and Energy Conservation Program.  This example references multiple projects covering a wide array of work scope.  Please see Aircon Project Experience above for scope of work detail by project.  All design/build work was performed in accordance with the State of California design standards.

The Audits analyzed the energy usage of State facilities and proposed specific viable Energy Efficiency Measures to reduce energy usage. More specifically as the State’s partner, Aircon Energy’s role is to define, design, and implement potential energy efficiency projects that reduce operations and utility expenses.

Aircon identified, evaluated and constructed energy-related conservation measures at the following State of California facilities:

• Avenal  –  $8,700,000
• Wasco  –  $1,100,000
• Salinas Valley  –  $7,000,000
• Norco –  $1,050,000
• CTF  –  $600,000
• Tehachapi  –  $1,520,000
• Kern Valley  –  $1,700,000

• Mule Creek  –  $1,350,000

Based upon exemplary customer service, Aircon has been notified by the State of California of their selection to perform energy-related conservation measures, which are currently in the design or construction phase, at the following State of California facilities:

  • California Institute for Women – $7.4 million
  • California Men’s Colony – $2.2 million
  • Pelican Bay SuperMax – $4.8 million
